At CIPDI, we believe true change starts with honest conversation and it begins when young people come together to challenge injustice, support one another and re-imagine a more equal world.
AMEND Together is a youth-led initiative that brings boys and girls into shared spaces to address the realities of gender-based violence (GBV) and the deep-rooted inequalities that often silence or sideline women and girls.
This program is more than a campaign, it is a movement to reshape attitudes, challenge harmful stereotypes and build a culture of respect, empathy and mutual empowerment.
Across many communities, girls and women continue to face:
Violence and harassment, often normalized or hidden
Lack of voice in decisions that affect their lives
Limited access to education, leadership, and opportunity
Meanwhile, boys and young men are often raised with rigid gender expectations, taught to suppress emotion, or assert dominance. These pressures harm everyone and keep cycles of inequality alive.
AMEND Together exists to break those cycles.

Safe spaces where boys and girls speak openly about gender roles, relationships, respect, and consent.
📚 Education & Empowerment
Interactive sessions on gender equality, emotional intelligence, and conflict resolution.
🎭 Creative Expression
Art, drama, poetry, and storytelling as tools for healing and advocacy.
🤝 Youth-Led Campaigns
Peer-to-peer activism, school outreach, and community events led by trained youth ambassadors.
Equip youth with the knowledge and confidence to challenge harmful norms
Promote healthy, respectful relationships
Empower young people to become advocates for change in their homes, schools, and communities
Foster a generation that values equality, dignity, and shared leadership
